Hi there! My name is Kiana I am a Illustrator, Mixed-Media artist. I’ve been creating art since I was in elementary school but I didn’t work with art profesionally since highschool. I would say it’s been around 8 years since I decided art is the path I want to take as my career and pursuit further knowledge. I’ve taken many internships that dealt with Graphic Design whether it’s working with clients to create advertisements, logos, flyers, T-shirt designs or printing designs onto t-shirts. Or working with an interior designer and help build marketing and branding for her business. I’ve also had other internships where I wasn’t creating art but instead working with kids helping them learn how to read. Or helping future artists in the Parsons Scholars program with their path as an artist whether they would continue to pursue art after highschool or not. As an upcoming artist it’s been rewarding seeing how I can help others with my work or help them with their work and growth. As an artist I experiment a lot and love to experience things in my life that would inspire my art. And with my art I want to build a community, a connection with others that brings them both joy and entertainment but can also be relateble.
